A great day at the Christie Antique Show!

We had an absolutely fabulous day yesterday at the Christie Antique Show! We met and chatted with some wonderful people- some had never been to our booth before, while others delightfully made a point to come visit us again! We were absolutley flattered with the continuous compliments we received throughout the day that our booth "was the prettiest"...that truly means so much to us! Thank you!

One of the big highlights to our day, was of course having Designer Dynamo's Sarah Richardson and Tommy Smythe come visit us! Too Cool!!!

Vintage Cheese Boxes

Some Auction Finds...

On Friday we had lots of fun scouting for some new found treasures. We were really happy with all of our finds and these cutie patootie cheese boxes are some of our favourites. Aren't they great!

The best one out of the lot has to be the Kraft one though!

We almost missed the bid on this, so glad we didn't!

Have you figured out what it is yet?...a clothes dryer :) All of the wooden dowels slide up and out and rest on the metal ring.





Another great find was this cake decorating kit - love how it's in the original box.

... and of course we couldn't go home without these!

Christie Antique Show Spring 2012

Saturday, May 26, 2012 8 a.m. - 5 p.m

It's hard to believe but the Christie Antique Show is just around the corner, May 26th to be exact!..and this means that we have a lot of work to do for our booth (Z23) at the show!

For those of you who aren't familiar with the show,

Hundreds of Canada’s top antique dealers and collectors display and sell an unparalleled variety of treasures. With 10 acres of vintage items waiting to be discovered, there are items to please both the novice and the most experienced collector. Furniture, architectural antiques, stoneware, Native artifacts, folk art, rugs, jewellery, sports memorabilia, scientific instruments, textiles, cut glass—if you can imagine it, you can find it in one of the 1,200 collecting categories featured at the show. It's a fabulous day to be had by all!
